Tbilisi will continue active talks with the European Union on active cooperation. The Georgian Foreign Ministry said that they will discuss Georgia's associated membership in the EU, Georgia Online reports.
The EU will be represented by Gunnar Vigand, Director of the EU Foreign Department for Eastern Partnership, Russia, Central Asia, Regional Cooperation and the OSCE.
Such talks on associated membership are also being held with Armenia and Azerbaijan. A mandate for the talks was approved by the EU Council of Ministers in 2010.
