Russia has called the authorities of Yemen and opposition to stop violence and start a dialogue, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Monday, RIA Novosti reports.
President Ali Abdally Salehi authorized Vice-President Hadi to carry out the negotiations on transition of authority and realization of the initiatives of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf.
The Russian embassy in Sana’a said that no Russian citizen was injured during the disorders on September 18.
