The Arab League has decided to support the candidacy of Azerbaijan in its bid for non-permanent membership of the UN Security Council in 2012-2013, Trend reports.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Arab League, the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry reports.
The Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan issued a statement saying that the support of the Arab League is an indicator of the high-level relations between Azerbaijan and Arab countries.
