A large-scale operation Border-Shield was launched today on the Azerbaijani-Russian border, Trend reports citing the Interior Ministry. The main purpose of the operation is to identify cases of illegal trafficking of weapons and drugs and suppression of illegal migration.
The results of operations will be announced on September 23.
