Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili will focus on Georgia's security and regional security at the 66th session of the UN General Assembly, his press secretary Manana Manjgaladze said on Tuesday.
She confirmed that the president will address the UN General Assembly on Sept. 22.
"The Georgian president will focus on the political and economic reforms taking place in Georgia. The president's visit to New York deserves attention from the point of view of foreign relations.
The visit has started today. The bilateral meetings are planned to be held with leaders of different countries," Manjgaladze said.
