Criminal case against terrorist Yevloyev’s sister and friend closed

The police of Ingushetia have closed the case against sister of Magomed Yevloyev, who had bombed the International Airport of Domodedovo on January 24, Fatima Yevloyeva, and his friend Umar Aushev, Newsru reports.


The suspects were at the Pre-Trial Detention Facility of Lefortovo until May. They will not demand moral and material compensations.


Fatima Yevloyeva and Umar Aushev were accused of terrorism, banditism, murder of over two people, illegal trafficking of arms, ammo and their illegal production. Investigators suspected that Yevloyev’s sister helped the terrorist build the bomb. Aushev was accused of bringing the terrorist from his home village of Ali-Yurt in Nazran to Moscow.


The Main Investigation Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee lifted accusations for terrorism and banditism. The last accusations were lifted today.


Militant leader Bashir Khamkhoyev, brother of Yevloyev suicide-bomber, and brothers Islam and Ilez Yandiyevs are suspects of the case. Khamkhoyev prepared Yevloyev for the bombing and Yandiyevs delivered him. Their detention terms were prolonged to October in July.


The blast at the International Airport of Domodedovo was carried out by Magomed Yevloyev on January 24. 37 died and about 200 were injured.
