The Secretary of the Russian Security Council, Nikolai Patrushev, has proposed the formation of a database of extremist organizations and their members, RIA Novosti reports.
Extremism needs global monitoring through the internet, he said. The main problem is interference in the internal affairs of states. The role of the UN and its Security Council in supporting peace and settling conflicts should grow.
Patrushev offered to exchange experience in modelling and forecasting critical situations caused by extremism.
