Armenian president to attend UN General Assembly meeting

The president of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, will leave for the United States on Thursday to attend the debates held within the framework of 66th UN General Assembly session, News.am reports.

The Armenian leader will deliver a speech and hold a meeting with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.

He will also attend festive events dedicated to 20th anniversary of Armenia’s Independence held in New York and Los Angeles. Serzh Sargsyan will also participate in the opening ceremony of a new building of Armenia’s consulate in Los Angeles.
