Iranian Parliamentary Speaker says the assassination of the head of Afghan Peace Council, Burhanuddin Rabbani, shows the ineffectiveness of US and NATO security management, Press TV reports.
“This assassination is an example of the democratic heaven and the war on terrorism that the US and NATO had promised,” Iranian Parliamentary Speaker Ali Larijani said on Wednesday.
“The US and NATO must explain whether they were involved in the recent assassinations in Afghanistan or incapable of creating security in the country,” the Iranian lawmaker added.
