Research Center of American Department of Defense to open in Georgia

The US Department of Defense with the help of medical research department and material resources of the army and other institutions will create a joint research institution in Georgia on the basis of the central laboratory of Public Health, Trend reports.

The amendments to the Georgian-American agreement on cooperation in preventing the spread of technology and information related to nuclear weapons and pathogens was discussed today in the parliamentary committee on health and social issues.
