Dmitry Medvedev proposed Vladimir Putin to run for Russian president in next year’s election.
In his turn, Medvedev will head the 'United Russia' party list in parliamentary elections and thus become a candidate for Prime Minister office. He accepted this proposition at the 12th 'United Russia' party congress.
