President Alexander Ankvab is being inaugurated in Abkhazia after receiving 54.9% of vote. He already taken the oath, ITAR-TASS reports.
Vice-President Mikhail Logua has also been appointed today.
No foreign guests have been invited for the inauguration ceremony. The early elections were held in August 26 due to death of President Sergey Bagapsh.
There were three candidates for the position: Alexander Ankvab (54.9% of vote), Raul Hajimba (19.82%) and Sergey Shamba (21.02%).
Ankvab received most votes in the capital, all districts and polling stations in Moscow and Cherkessk.
