Baku will host the International Humanitarian Forum on October 10-11, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu said. Azerbaijani and Russian Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Dmitry Medvedev will attend the meeting.
The presidents expect the forum to become a regular annual meeting. It will include talks on science, education, culture, arts, foreign public and political figures, Trend reports.
The first humanitarian forum of Russia and Azerbaijan was held in Baku on January 22-23, 2010. Over 350 officials arrived for the meeting. Talks concerned culture, science, medicine, education, media, TV and sports.
Ilham Aliyev praised the forum and proposed its expansion.
Head of the Russian Presidential Administration Sergey Naryshkin offered to make the forum regular at a meeting with Ilham Aliyev.
