Iran's national bank chief flees to Canada

The head of the Iranian National Bank, Mahmoudreza Khaveri, has resigned and fled to Canada, Mehr cites the Saderat bank's executive director Mohammad Jahromi as saying.

According to published information, Khaveri escaped with the help of the country's top officials involved in the recent financial scandals.
