The European Parliament has hosted another session of the Turkish-EU inter-parliamentary committee with Turkish Minister for European Integration Yegemen Bagys attending, APA reports.
The sides discussed Turkish membership in the EU, a simplified visa regime and tensions between the Republic of Cyprus and Turkey.
European Commissioner for Home Affairs Cecilia Malmstrom noted that the visa regime with Turkey could be simplified. This concerns multivisas for Turkish students and businessmen.
