Kazakhstan will hold a summit of the Council for Cooperation of Turkic States, Azerbaijani Minister for Industry and Energy Natik Aliyev said at the 8th session of the Azerbaijani-Kazakh inter-parliamentary commission for economic cooperation in Baku on Thursday, Trend reports.
Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan will sign nine deals, including a deal on cooperation in the maritime industry and mercantile shipping.
The agreement on formation of the Council for Cooperation of Turkic States was signed at the 9th summit of heads of Turkic states in Nakhchyvan on October 3, 2009. The council consists of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Turkey.
