Police have pushed a crowd of supporters of Jambulat Tedeev from the building of the government of South Ossetia. The issue of registration of Jambulat Tedeev as a candidate in the presidential elections of South Ossetia is being considered today by the Central Electoral Commission of South Ossetia, RIA Novosti reports, with reference to the spokesperson of the president and the government of South Ossetia, Vyacheslav Sedov.
According to eyewitnesses, a crowd of about 150 people tried to break into the government building, demanding the immediate registration of Tedeev as a presidential candidate.
Presidential elections will be held in South Ossetia on November 13.
