The Central Electoral Commission of South Ossetia has denied Jambulat Tadeev has been registered as a presidential candidate, RIA-Novosti reports, referring to the head of the presidential press service of the republic.
Tadeev and his initiative group have not yet made any official announcement on the issue.
Earlier this Friday 150 supporters of Tadeev attempted to storm the building of the South Ossetian government in protest against the decision of the CEC not to include Tadeev on the list of presidential candidates.
