Protests against NATO anti-missile facilities in Turkey

About 5,000 protesters gathered at the Malatya Province in Turkey against the NATO anti-missile facilities in Turkey, ITAR-TASS reports.

They accused the Justice and Development Party of fulfilling demands of imperialists to monitor Iran’s missile potential.

The NATO radar in Turkey was set at Kurejik in the Malatya Province. Information on the radar was announced in September. Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that setting of the radar would benefit the region.
