Georgia and Egypt signed two intergovernmental agreements today. The
first agreement was formalized to avoid double taxation, as well as
clamp down on the non-payment of taxes. The agreement was signed by
Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze and his Egyptian counterpart
Ahmed Abdul Gheit in Tbilisi, reports Georgian media.
The sides noted that the agreement will attract more Egyptian
investments into the Georgian economy, and ease business cooperation
between the two countries.
Another agreement on cooperation was signed between the national
archives and parliamentary libraries of both Georgia and Egypt.
