Turkey has organized an operation to detain terrorists from the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) this morning, Trend reports.
80 people have been detained.
15 members of the PKK were detained last week, suspected of planning terrorist acts.
The Falcons of the Kurdistan Liberation organized an explosion in Ankara on September 22, killing 3 and injuring 34.
Turkey started air raids against the PKK on August 17, after a terrorist attack in south-eastern Turkey, in which 9 Turkish servicemen were killed.
Turkey and the PKK have been at war for over 25 years, resulting in the deaths of over 40,000 people. The party demands the formation of an independent state. The UN and EU recognize the PKK as a terrorist organization.
