Turkey may hold drills near Syrian border

Turkish military forces may soon hold drills near the Syrian border, Associated Press cites a source in the Turkish military as saying.

According to the source, the military exercises will be held on October 5-13, 2011 in the Turkish province of Hatai.

The drills are expected to be attended by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayip Erdogan.
