Now is the perfect time to begin talks on a settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, the French Co-Chairman of the OSCE Minsk Group said, as reported by PanArmenian.net.
‘In 2009, the OSCE Minsk Group held six meetings with the Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents and three more meetings were held on the initiative of the Russian president,” Bernar Fasie said at the NATO Parliamentary Assembly’s 73rd Rose-Roth Seminar in Yerevan.
“The Madrid principles are on the table,” he went on, “and the Minsk Group co-chair states are committed to these principles, as is demonstrated by the Mayendorf Declaration and the statement by the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair states in L’Aqulia.”
