The South Ossetian Parliament has passed a vote of censure against Speaker Stanislav Kochiyev, who had been elected as Chairman of Parliament on June 19, 2009, IA Res reports.
19 out of 23 MPs voted for the censure and 4 against. Vice-Speaker Yuri Dzitstsoyty said that the decision was passed according to article 66 of the Constitution and article 12 of the South Ossetian Parliamentary Order.
Vice-Speaker Zurab Kokoyev has become the Acting Speaker.
