Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says the Islamic Republic's ties with the United States are conditional, insisting that the Iranian nation will never submit to “unequal terms,” Press TV reports.
Iran has a “clear” position with respect to the US and has repeatedly declared that Tehran's ties with Washington would depend on “just and humane” conditions, said President Ahmadinejad in a live interview with Iran's channel two TV station Tuesday night.
Ties must be based on mutual respect and justice. One side cannot unilaterally sever relations and then plead for concessions in an effort to resume it, he added.
