The new role of Azerbaijan in the UN, should it become a member of the Security Council, would improve its authority, but it is a great responsibility at the same time, Fikhret Sadykhov, a political analyst, Professor of the Western University of Baku, said in an interview with Vestnik Kavkaza.
Concerning new opportunities, Azerbaijan will open up, and Sadykhov noted that it will gain no privileges, onl responsibilities for global issues. Azerbaijain must express a vivid position on various issues.
