Today the People’s Assembly in Makhachkala, under the chairmanship of
parliamentary vice-speaker Nikolay Alchiyev, held a presidium on the
schedule of the 35th session of the People’s Assembly of May 27th,
Yuga.ru reports.
Before the discussions began, several deputies proposed changes to
bills that will be considered at the session. There were also disputes
on amendments to the Dagestani Law on the Republic’s Government, which
will determine whether the person to report the results to parliament
is the president or the chairman of the government. Alchiyev noted
that there is one day left before the session, which is why the issue
will be considered by the country’s high officials.
Various issues will be considered, including the bill on the
appointment of judges. Other projects are correspondence of municipal
positions and the state civil service of Dagestan, the bill on paying
obligatory state insurance and replacing the state civil service
positions of Dagestan.
There are amendments planned for the 17th article of Dagestani Law on
protection of the population and the territory from natural and
man-made emergency situations (spoken out for by Musa Islavov) and on
the rescue services (Murtuzali Murtuzaliyev).
The deputies will approve the new members of the youth parliament. The
chairman of the Education, Science and Culture Committee Asiyat Aliyev
proposed the candidatures of five people from the ‘Yedinaya Rossiya’
(United Russia) party and one each from the ‘Russian Patriot’ party
and the ‘KPRF' (Communist Party)
