Putin comments on Russia's joining WTO

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has called upon Russia's international partners not to play 'the Georgian card' while discussing Russia's attempt to join the World Trade Organization, RIA Novosti reports.

"We often hear - 'Go talk with the Georgians!' - However our Georgian partners returned to their previous demands and are not ready for a compromise," Putin said, answering questions at the Russia Forward forum.

Speaking about Ukraine's EU bid, Prime Minister Putin said Ukraine would be better joining the Customs Union of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia.
