French President Nikolas Sarkozy should mind the problems of his own state and not act like a historian, Turkish Minister for Links with the European Union Egemen Bagis said, Trend reports.
He added that Sarkozy’s statement was meant to improve his rating.
Sarkozy visited Armenia, where he viewed the memorial to victims of the Genocide. The French president said his state would take actions unless Turkey recognizes the Genocide in 2011.
