Dubrovnik (Croatia) is hosting an autumn session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, APA reports.
The main topic of the session is "the development of south-eastern Europe: challenges, opportunities and prospects". OSCE PA chairman Petros Eftimiu opened the session.
Participants at the session discussed the situation in the Balkans, including Serbia, Macedonia, Croatia and Bosnia/Herzegovina, efficient management, control of corruption, refugees, human trafficking and economic cooperation.
The special representative of the OSCE PA to the South Caucasus, Zhoao Soaresh, will make a report on the role of the OSCE in settling the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Reports made by the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group and special representative of the chairman of the organization, Andrzej Kasprzyk, will be presented tomorrow.
The session will be concluded on October 10. The session will see an Azerbaijani delegation headed by the Vice-Speaker of the Parliament, Bakhar Muradova.
