The president of France, Georgian Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Ministry of Finance of Georgia and the French Development Agency (AFD) have signed a memorandum of cooperation.
The Memorandum provides financial support for the construction of a heating plant in Mestia, Georgia. This station is meant to provide heating and hot water, which will help to develop the tourism infrastructure.
"Frankly, in Georgia, I feel like in Europe" - said the French president, Nicolas Sarkozy, speaking on the Freedom Square in Tbilisi.
