A delegation from the “Dialogue” program, headed by the director of the Institute for Regional Problems, Dmitry Zhuravlyov, will visit Dagestan tomorrow. The program includes visits to Makhachkala, Derbent, Kizlyar and Khasavyurt to meet local youth and the Russian community. The delegation consists of 16 people, including media officials, football fans and experts. A member of the Presidium of the Congress of Russian Communities, Alexander Bosykh, and the leader of Fractia Unity, Yevgeny Selemenev, will also arrive.
The coordinator of the visit for international relations of the Moscow directorate of the United Russia Party, Sultan Khamzayev, told Vestnik Kavkaza that Russians in Dagestan do not have exclusive problems in the region.
The “Dialogue” program was initiated by the Institute for Regional Problems. It is to give an image of cultures, peoples and religion through communications. The visit is supported by the Dagestani Presidential Administration. A press conference and a round table discussion will be held at the end of the visit. The program includes visits to all regions of the North Caucasus.
