The International Diaspora Centre (IDC), ASİMDER and the Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Kars have organized a visit to the Turkish provinces of Kars and Igdir dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Azerbaijani Independence, Trend reports referring to the chairman of the IDC, Ismail Agayev.
The delegation, composed of intellectuals, artists and representatives of Russian and European diaspora, was accepted by the head of the province of Kars, Ahmet Kara, and rector of the Caucasus University in Kars Sami Ozdzhan.
The Caucasus University held a conference devoted to the 20th anniversary of Azerbaijan's independence, at which presentations were made by scientists of Azerbaijan and Turkey.
