Turkish forces carried out a successful operation and destroyed the largest base of the Kurdish Workers’ Party (PKK) in Hakkari Province on October 10, Trend reports.
Air and ground forces killed militants and destroyed ammunition, food supplies and medicaments of terrorists.
Turkey started a mass operation against the PKK on August 17 in the south-east of Turkey after a terrorist attack that killed 9 Turkish servicemen. It was the first Turkish strike in northern Iraq in over a year.
