Rasim Musabekov: Eurasian Union oriented towards former Soviet republics keeping ties

The future will show whether the project is an efficient one, Azerbaijani political analyst, member of the country's parliament Rasim Musabelov told VK correspondent.

"Speaking about the European Union, we mean the existing project that is useful for member states, the Eurasian Union has just been established," Musabek says.

According to him, the project will be useful for those countries whose economy is integrated into the Russian one.

"The project Vladimir Putin is talking about is oriented towards former Soviet republics that keep close ties with Russia. Belarus and Russia have indeed such ties," the politician adds.
