The semi-recognized republic of South Ossetia's troops are not going to be put on alert, Defense Minister Valery Yakhnovets said on Tuesday, the RES Information Agency reports.
Thus the official disproved reports by some news agencies.
On November 13 the republic is going to hold presidential elections.
