Dzambolat Tedeyev expelled from South Ossetia

Russian wrestling coach Dzambolat Tedeyev, who has recently announced that he is going to run for South Ossetia's president, has been expelled from the semi-recognized republic, RES Information Agency reports.

Tedeyev was not registered as a candidate and his supporters started a campaign protesting against the authorities' decision.

The official explanation is that Tedeyev was expelled in order to secure his own safety.
