A major terrorist attack has been averted in Nalchik. An explosive device with capacity of 3 kg of TNT has been defused in downtown Nalchik, ITAR-TASS reports with reference to the representative of the Information Center of the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC).
The bomb found in flowers next to the monument to the first president of Kabardino-Balkaria, Valery Kokov. Public events are to be held next to this monument on October 18, the 70th anniversary of the first president of Kabardino-Balkaria.
