Turkey to open new crossing points for mountain villages

Turkey plans to open 9 crossing points on its borders with Iran, Iraq and Georgia in the next 2 years. This will ease customs procedures and improve trade, Armenia Today reports. This will improve standards of life for the population of Turkey’s mountainous areas. Officials of the four states are currently consulting to determine the location of the new crossing points.
