Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that Tehran does not plan to investigate an alleged plot by its special services to murder the Saudi Arabian ambassador to the USA, Trend reports.
US Attorney General Eric Holder announced the discovery of the conspiracy on October 12, RIA Novosti reports.
Ahmadinejad noted that the US keeps making accusations against Iran. The conspiracy accusations are meant to deflect attention from mass protests against the US economic policy that have continued for almost a month, he said.
Iran demanded the US present information on the alleged conspiracy.
