Baku is hosting a forum of member-states of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Baltic states on October 20-22 under the patronage of the International Olympic Committee and the Olympic Solidarity Organization, Trend reports.
The forum will see the attendance of 12 CIS states and 3 Baltic states. A spokesman of the organization committee for the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi is expected to arrive.
Minister for Youth and Sports Azad Ragimov and Vice-President of the National Olympic Committee Chinghis Guseynzade will make reports.
The second day will allow participants of the forum to observe Olympic complexes and sports facilities. They will visit the federations of tae kwon do, hockey, tennis.
