Deals signed between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan today prove the dynamic pace of the development of bilateral ties, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said at a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Alma-Ata, Kazinrofm reports.
Both states speak Turkic languages, and have common culture and traditions. There are 130,000 Azerbaijani living in Kazakhstan, Nazarbayev said.
The Kazakh president noted that the sides are cooperating within the framework of the UN, OSCE and CICA.
