The Dagestani State Technical University in Makhachkala opened a summit of North Caucasus students to discuss socio-economic problems, RIA Dagestan reports.
Leader of youth organizations arrived from Ingushetia, Chechnya, Stavropol Territory, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia and North Ossetia.
Zaur Kakhrimanov, Chairman of the Committee for Youth Policy of Dagestan, noted that the summit is a regional youth platform for involvement of active and talented students in socio-economic development of the North Caucasus. The summit has been held for the second year in a row is demonstrates activity of youth of the North Caucasian Federal District.
He read out a greeting letter from Dagestani Leader Magomedsalam Magoemdov.
Gamzat Gamzatov, Chairman of the Public Chamber, said that people can become successful and rich in any region, buth their joy lies within their homeland.
Zhamal Bottayev, Chairman of the Student Council of the Kabardino-Balkarian State Agricultural Academy, Mussa Makhriyev, member of the Youth Government of Ingushetia, Viskhan Etiyev, a student of the Grozny State Oil Technical University, Ruslan Nukerov, Chairman of the Youth Organization of Dagestan in Stavropol and member of the Youth Chamber of the Stavropol Territory, made speeches.
