Prime minister calls for heightened enforcement in Stavropol region

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has called for an increased level of law enforcement in the Stavropol region, RIA Novosti reports.

The largest operation to eliminate militants took place in the village of Prgress in the Kirov district of Stavropol Territory in late April. As a result of the operation, the forces of the FSB and the Interior Ministry of Russia in the North Caucasus Federal District killed a group of militants.
