Azerbaijani youth gathers for Baku forum

Baku is hosting the 4th youth forum of Azerbaijan, APA reports.

The forum was organized with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Attendees of the forum visited the tomb of Heydar Aliyev and Academician Zarifa Aliyeva at the Honorary Alley and the Alley of Sheikhs. They laid flowers at the Eternal Flame.

About 2000 young people, officials of central structures, representatives of international humanitarian organizations, heads of higher education centers and MPs arrived for the forum at the Heydar Aliyev Palace.

Minister for Youth and Sports Azad Ragimov will make a speech.

Ragimov said earlier that everyone has their own demands. Development of youth potential can be viewed as a use of processes in the country and international affairs. Young people of Azerbaijan are successfully using advanced technologies and social networks, he reminded.

The minister underlined that they would discuss goals and obligations of non-governmental youth organizations, public youth figures, social problems of students, education quality, prospects of young scientists, projects of creative and talented youth and invitation of youth to management.

The youth forum was first held on February 2, 1996, initiated by Heydar Aliyev. Five youth forums have been held in Azerbaijan so far.
