Moldova's prime minister slams prosecutor general for Bagirov's escape

The Prime Minister of Moldova, Vlad Filat, said the prosecutor general's office is responsible for the recent escape of Russian writer and blogger Eduard Bagirov, ITAR-TASS reports.

The prosecutor general should resign, the top official added.

Eduard Bagirov was arrested this summer due to accusations of calling for a revolution against the Moldovan government. Later the blogger was placed under house arrest. On October 19th it was found that he had left the country.
