Libya's National Transitional Council (NTC) wants NATO to continue its mission in the country for "at least one more month", NTC finance minister Ali Tarhouni said on Tuesday, Xinhua reports.
"I ask NATO to remain at least for another month," he told reporters on the heels of NATO's announcement that it plans to end its seven-month mission in Libya on October 31st.
The move came following the death of Mummar Gaddafi and the fall of his final stronghold, his home town of Sirte.
