Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, who is currently visiting Moscow, met today with the heads of the lower and the upper chambers of the Russian Parliament, Boris Gryzlov and Valentina Matviyenko, Armenia Today reports.
The head of the Council of Federation, Valentina Matviyenko, said the Armenian president's visit is a remarkable step in development of bilateral relations.
She also said Russia and Armenia have successful ties. Matviyenko also said that Russians are interested in Armenian culture.
