Turkey accepts Israeli aid in clearing earthquake damage

Turkey has accepted Israeli aid in clearing the damage from Sunday's eathquake, Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak said.

Israel will help provide temporary accomodation for everyone who lost their homes. A plane carrying Israeli aid will arrive in Turkey today, RIA Novosti reports.

Ankara has not commented on the statements of the Israeli authorities yet.

Israel and a set of other states offered Turkey support in clearing the damage. Ankara initially declined offers of help from all states, not only Israel.
