Georgian finance minister to attend parliament

Finance Minister Dmitry Gvindadze will attend the Georgian parliament on October 28, instead of six ministers invited by the opposition, Georgia Online reports.


The minister’s visit was announced by parliamentary secretary Giya Khuroshvili on October 25. The government hour is held on the last Thursday of every month.


On Tuesday the leader of the parliamentary majority, Petre Tsiskarishvili, requested the session to be postponed to Friday.


Parliamentary Speaker David Bakradze took the request into account.


The United for Justice party has been demanding to see the ministers for two months now. Khuroshvili underlined that the finance minister will provide full information.
